The lookout is 5km from the Blencoe Falls camping area along the Kirrama-Cashmere Road. Open eucalypt forest along the escarpments, hoop pines and vine-thicket rainforest in the gullies. The gateway to the 110km Wet Tropics Great Walk. 4WD only, dry-season only, mobile coverage near none.

Know before you go

Stay on marked trails and behind safety barriers. Rocks near waterfalls are extremely slippery. Swimming at the base may be prohibited during high water flow. Carry rain protection. This is a challenging experience requiring good fitness and preparation. Allow extra time and carry emergency supplies.
