Hancock Gorge

A narrow slot canyon in Karijini National Park with polished red walls and a spiderwalk section where visitors shimmy between the gorge walls above water.

Flash flooding can occur with little warning, especially in the wet season. Check weather forecasts before entering gorges. Wear sturdy footwear with good grip on rock surfaces. This is a challenging experience requiring good fitness and preparation. Allow extra time and carry emergency supplies.
