Western Australias Ningaloo Coast is home to the worlds largest fringing reef, stretching 260 kilometres along the remote Gascoyne coast. Unlike the Great Barrier Reef, Ningaloos reef is accessible directly from shore, making it one of the best snorkelling destinations on Earth. Whale sharks visit annually from March to July.
